Welcome to University Gate, the ideal student accommodation located just across the road from Wits University. Your safety is our priority, and University Gate boasts 24-hour security with CCTV surveillance. The spacious rooms offer a comfortable living space, and our accommodation is Wits and Private collage accredited, ensuring quality standards. Additionally, students can take advantage of the on-site laundry area, and there’s a designated chill spot for relaxation and socialising.

Our accommodation offers single rooms exclusively for private paying or private bursaries at a rate of R8200, with no top-ups allowed. Private bursary students enjoy a sharing room at the same rate of R5200, while all cash-paying students, including private bursaries, are required to pay a one-month deposit upfront.
For NSFAS students, we strictly admit those with ”eligible for funding” status, and they pay the full R5000 every month as per the lease agreement. The rental includes electricity and water, providing a hassle-free living experience.
